Mackenzie

Description

Mackenzie is an 8-year-old spayed female golden who is friendly and looking for her permanent home.  Her former owner developed health issues and could no longer properly provide her care. She  is housebroken and goes to the back door and whines when she needs to go potty! She does know how to use a doggie door but prefers someone to be out with her. She likes to chase the tennis ball but wants to play tug to give it back! She is very energetic and likes to run around the yard carrying her tennis ball.  Mackenzie loves to go for a ride and jumps right in. She is interested in people and she gets along well with her two foster sisters and has shown no aggressive behavior toward other dogs when out and about.

We feel the best environment for Mackenzie will have someone who is home most of the time. She really likes being the only dog and getting all the attention. She likes to be close all the time and will sleep close by when her human is reading or watching TV. If you feel like your home is perfect for Mackenzie -please contact your Adoption Coordinator! If you have not applied to become an approved adopter- please read all about the adoption overview, adoption requirements and adoption process under the Adopt Tab. If you feel like you meet the requirements, please fill out an adoption application to become an approved adopter and start the process to see if you might be McKenzie's Forever Family.
