My name is Barney, and I would love to find my forever home before the holidays. I’m a little anxious, so I really need my person(s) to be present as much as possible. I will bond with you almost immediately. My favorite thing is to relax next to my foster mom so she can rub my back; I’m really a big lap dog! I’m not eager to get in the car, but once I’m in the back seat, I love looking out the window and going on errands. I do well with my foster mom’s dog, but I wouldn’t mind life as an only dog either. I didn’t have much training in my previous life, so I do need to work on my commands. I practice my leash habits everyday, and my mom says I’m doing much better, but I still need practice. I do look forward to walking with my person every day to work off some of my energy. If you have the time and patience, I’m your guy!
