Hi I am Champ!

I’m a healthy, happy go lucky, 16 month old, light colored, 75lb male Golden Retirever who never meets a stranger!!  I’m here on this site because my previous family was going through some significant living situation changes. They decided to surrender me to GRRH so I could go to a home who could give me more love and attention. My foster mom tells me I’m a really good boy, have endless curiosity, and very trainable. I’m always happy, I only potty outside, I walk pretty well on a leash, and I know basic commands. Oh, and I am smart boy, although a little goofy at the same time! A basket full of toys will keep me entertained while I’m inside hanging out. A good tennis ball throwing session outside is something I really like! Goldens love to be near their owners, and I am no different….I will want to be where you are all of the time and I will want your attention. Pet my head and talk to me and I’m in heaven!  Oh and before I forget, spoiler alert, I shed so I will need a good groomer to keep me looking handsome.
