Hi my name is Maddie and I am a healthy and active, 8 year old beautiful petite red Golden Retriever.  My family made the difficult decision to surrender me to GRRH as they knew I would be safer and happier with a new family while recently relocating to a home that doesn’t have a fenced in yard. Swimming, chasing tennis balls, and playing with toys and other dogs are some of my most favorite outdoor activities. I really like swimming so if you have a pool that would be so exciting. I do enjoy a daily walk and my foster says, I walk well on a leash. While inside, I like to play with toys and relax in nice comfy places. Right now, at my foster’s house, that would be on her bed! Snuggling and belly rubs while talking to me is just heaven!!!! I am always happy and will always want to be close by. I get along with everyone including kids, dogs and cats. I’m super sweet (submissive) and don’t enjoy being around bossy (dominant) dogs. I need a family who is as sweet as I am. I have been very lonely in the past, so someone home a good deal of time would be ideal. I’ll be waiting to hear from you…Maddie ❤️
