My journey here at GRRH has been a lengthy one. I’ve been working really hard on my manners and learning to manage my impulses. No one here ever gave up on me because they knew I just needed time to be able to relax and understand what makes me comfortable and confident.  I’m truly  excited now to find my forever family. 

When I was younger, the world felt a little scary. I spent long days alone and didn’t get out much, so I barked at people just to make them go away. It was my way of feeling safe. I also learned to guard my food because I was worried there wouldn’t be enough.

 The good news? My foster family and trainer have helped me grow so much. I’m building confidence every day and now feel that I can have a Wonderful Loving Life with the right people. I know all my commands and love to show off  to impress others. I’m happiest in a calm, quieter environment. For me….adults at home WITHOUT young kids and WITHOUT another dog  is where I thrive most…….I’m really just one Quiet Kinda Guy! You see what  I really need is a confident, loving leader so I don’t have to worry about the big stuff. When I feel safe, I’m loyal, affectionate, and eager to please.
