Hi! I’m Luna and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m nine months old and growing fast. I love to play with my foster brother so it would be great to have an older brother or sister to play tug of war with. My foster mother also thinks a dog that is a little older would be a great teacher/trainer! I have my brother around my little paw….when I drop my teething bone, he actually picks it up and gives it back to me. Now that’s service!
I’m your typical puppy. Play hard, sleep hard. Every morning my foster mom puts me in my crate for a little nap; I didn’t like the crate at first, but now I go into the crate on command…with a little treat on the side. I also have meals and sleep in my crate at night. I eat so fast that I have a slow eating dish to help me take my time! My foster mom bought e a puzzle thinking that would really slow me down, but I’ve mastered that as well.
I still have to learn basic commands…but I’m working hard on those every day. I love the training treats so If I end up living with you, be sure to stock up.
My perfect family would have a dog who loves to play and someone at home who has time to train me and give me the attention I crave. I love tug of rope toys, but Mom has taken away soft toys for now - too tempting to chew. I’m good with children - neighbor children (over five) have visited and love to pet me.
Finally, if you have lizards in your yard, I would be ecstatic. I’m a lizard hunter! I haven’t actually caught any so far, but the hunt is not over! I much prefer hunting to fetching a ball - at least for now.
