Hello future family! I’m Rex, a super sweet, 2-year-old, energetic guy with a big heart and even bigger puppy energy! I’ve been told I’m extremely handsome. Like, “people stop to admire me on walks” handsome. I may be grown on the outside, but on the inside I’m still very much a puppy — which means I’m playful, curious, and sometimes forget that not everything is a chew toy (I’m working on it, promise). My foster family believes a little extra love and some training would help me reach perfect-pet status!

 I LOVE attention. Which works out perfectly, because I look great receiving it. Cuddles? Yes. Belly rubs? Absolutely. Being near my people at all times? Required. I’m happiest when I’m getting love or giving it right back. I do best with someone who’s home a lot — I just really like knowing my people are nearby, and it helps me feel safe and relaxed.

 I’m also a great leash walker and really enjoy my daily walks I am currently walking about 3 miles a day but I can do more — partly because I love exploring and because it’s another chance to show off how good-looking I am. I do well around other dogs and kids, and I’m always excited to make new friends. Because I have so much enthusiasm and energy, I’d thrive best in a home with older kids who can match my vibe and help me stay calm when I get a little too excited.
